It's been stormy and hot here the past week or so. We still haven't turned on our AC per our realtors wishes. It's only truly miserable for about an hour in the afternoon, which pushes us out the door to get out of the hot house. We usually end up at the track on base where it's cooler near the grass and Eisley can run off energy while Kasey and I take turns working out and watching her. Unfortunately [or fortunately, if I'm being real] this has put a damper on making dinner at the hottest time of the day. We've been having lots of crockpot meals and smoothies for dinner lately. Oh and take out pizza ;) Eisley can put down a slice of pizza on top of the rest of her dinner and now exclaims "PIZZA!" whenever we ask her what she wants to eat. Oops. Her newest words are "fast" which she likes to yell after we sing the song Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, "why?" like when we take her out of her beloved bath after a half hour of playing she whines "whhhhhy?" and it breaks my heart, "what's dis?" as she points to an old piece of gum on the concrete and "I did it!" BUT her favorite word is "no." :/ She's the funniest little person. I never want to forget the sweet little moments in the day with her. Like how she says "I luf of" and waves "bye bye" to her daddy over my shoulder as we walk out of our room to lay her down at night. Or when she screams "mama!" as I walk in the door from spin class on Thursday nights. Sorry for the mushy #mompost. They just grow so fast.
Our stuff is [supposed] to be here on August 7th! It's been a lonnnnng 3 months. I don't know whether I'm more excited for my bed or my vacuum.
